2024 Year-End Appeal
Though there was plenty for us to do before the advent of 2025, we’re now faced with an enormity and urgency not seen in a long time. RFK Human Rights is ready to rise to new challenges and seize even more opportunities to defend human rights—but we need your help.

The strides we’ve made have only been possible thanks to our community of supporters—people like you, standing with us through good and difficult times, making this crucial work possible. In 2024, RFK Human Rights:
- Exposed torture and systemic human rights abuses of detained and disappeared immigrants at the hands of ICE officials in Louisiana.
- Safeguarded the rights to vote and freedom of speech in Ethiopia.
- Won a historic victory holding the Guatemalan State responsible for the enforced disappearance of four human rights defenders in direct retaliation for their work.
- Held law enforcement accountable when they graphically threatened to shoot a father in the head in front of his terrified kids after pulling them over without a legal basis.
- Empowered student leaders with new California legislation, written by one of our John Lewis Young Leaders, Saanvi Arora, which ensures that college campuses will offer addiction services and provide critical help for students traumatized by date rape.
