Fall 2022 Defender Speaker Series: Introductory Lesson for Kateryna Yushchenko

This fall, we will be hosting a speaker series featuring conversations with world leaders, policy makers, educators, and human rights defenders to help you bring discussions of current human rights issues into your classroom. Each live webinar will be moderated by a student from one of our partner schools. Your students will also have an opportunity to participate through a live question and answer session with the speaker.

We’re excited to announce that our third speaker is Kateryna Yushchenko, Chairman of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation and former first lady of Ukraine. Join us Wednesday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. EST for Speak Truth to Power: Ukraine Today featuring Kateryna Yushchenko and moderated by Nicole Perry as they discuss the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
