Niclas Kjellström-Matseke is the CEO of Novamedia Swedish Postcode Lottery and a pioneer of market driven charity. With his background in business management he is dedicated to using commercial methods to generate funding for charities. Through his concept market driven charity, he combines the forces of idealism and commercialism to reach the vision of the Lottery – to contribute to a better world.

Under his oversight as CEO, the Swedish Postcode Lottery has not only showed a tremendous growth. They have also managed to generate more than SEK 1.8 billion (Euros 194 million) for charity organisations such as the Clinton Foundation, Nelson Mandela´s Childrens Fund, UNHCR, WWF, and the Red Cross. Always pushing the envelope his vision is to yearly generate SEK 1 billion to charitable causes.

Before becoming the CEO of Novamedia Swedish Postcode Lottery, Mr Kjellström-Matseke held senior management positions such as being the CEO of Swedish lottery Spero. He is also a member of the board of ACLEU (Association of Charity Lotteries in the European Union).

Mr Kjellström-Matseke holds an MBA from Stockholm School of Economics and Babson College in the US as well as a degree in Economics from Uppsala University. His late father came from South Africa and was forced into exile for being one of the founding members and a president within the ANC.
