Nina Alessi

Development Associate

Nina Alessi is the Development Associate at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. She is responsible for generating financial support for the organization’s programs by applying for grants, developing collateral material for fundraising purposes, and cultivating stronger relationships with potential donors and institutions.

Previously, Nina worked as the Legal Education Intern at Connecticut Women’s Education Legal Fund to guarantee equal access to legal, educational, and social service systems. Most recently, she worked as a Case Management Intern at Arc Community Services. In this role, Nina oversaw a caseload of clients who had been charged with felony drug convictions but diverted from incarceration by attending ARC’s drug treatment program.

Nina received her B.A. in Political Science and Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
