Jennifer Katz

Director, Investments, Doris Duke Foundation

Jennifer Katz is the director for investments at the Doris Duke Foundation. In this capacity, she is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, including venture capital and global public equity. Katz also contributes to portfolio-level asset allocation and investment policy management, and she serves as the head of mission-aligned investing for the foundation, working to advance investment strategies that align with DDF’s programmatic priorities. Prior to joining the foundation in 2017, Katz spent approximately 10 years as an investor in the private U.S. infrastructure space, focusing on regulated utilities and power generation assets. Katz earned a BA in astrophysics with a concentration in mathematics from Columbia University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
