Makenna Osborn joins Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights as a Dale and James J. Pinto Fellow. She received a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center with a focus on civil and human rights law. During law school, Makenna served in the Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps J.D. program at Legal Assistance of Western New York, Inc., working on their reentry and community development and economic justice projects. She also interned with the Protection Unit at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees’ Global Learning Centre in Budapest. At Georgetown, Makenna participated in the Human Rights Institute's Fact-Find Practicum and the International Women's Human Rights Clinic. She represented Georgetown at the 2019 International Migration and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition in Amsterdam.
