Makenna Osborn joins Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights as a Dale and James J. Pinto Fellow. She received a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University in 2012 and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2019 with a focus on civil and human rights law. During law school, Makenna served in the Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps JD program at Legal Assistance of Western New York, Inc.®, working on their reentry and community development and economic justice projects. She also interned with the Protection Unit at UNHCR's Global Learning Centre in Budapest. At Georgetown, Makenna participated in the Human Rights Institute's Fact-Find Practicum and the International Women's Human Rights Clinic. She also represented Georgetown at the 2019 International Migration and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition in Amsterdam.
