Kenneth Goldman

Kenneth Goldman is the former chief financial officer for Yahoo! Inc, responsible for the company's global finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, controllership, tax, treasury and investor relations.

Previously, Goldman served as senior vice president, finance and administration, as well as chief financial officer of Fortinet, a provider of unified threat-management solutions.

He also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Dexterra. Before his role at the mobile platform and app provider, he was senior vice president, finance and administration and chief financial officer of Siebel Systems for six years. In addition, from December 1999 to December 2003, he served on the Financial Accounting Standards Board's primary advisory group. He also serves on the board of directors of Gigamon, NXP Semiconductor, Yahoo Japan, Trinet, GoPro and several private companies.

Goldman was a member of the board of trustees of Cornell University from 2005 to 2013 and was subsequently designated as Emeritus Trustee; and is currently on the Harvard Business School California Research Center Advisory Board. He was appointed in January 2015 to a three-year term to the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board's Standing Advisory Group, an organization that provides advice on the need to formulate new accounting standards or change existing standards. Goldman is a former member of the Treasury Advisory Committee on the Auditing Profession, a public committee that made recommendations in September 2008 to encourage a more sustainable auditing profession. From December 1999 to December 2003, Goldman served on the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council.

Goldman holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
