Adnan Karim serves as Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights’ managing director of human rights education. His lengthy experience with service learning programs and peace building initiatives includes work with AmeriCorps, City Year, and buildOn. He also spent time working with Mercy Corps, researching and assisting in peace building initiatives along the border of Uganda and Kenya in post-conflict areas.
A first-generation U.S. citizen and the son of Bengali natives, Adnan received a B.A. in political science from Middle Tennessee State, and a M.P.A. from NYU Wagner with a specialization in international development. Adnan lives in Spanish Harlem with his fiancee and black lab.
