Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, recently joined other daughters of very influential public figures who lost their lives to violence to commemorate what would have been Medgar Evers’ 100th birthday.
In this interview with Mississippi Public Broadcasting, Kerry describes these activists as people who would “run into the flames” to stand up for peace, justice, and love, defending the civil and human rights of those who suffer. She also advocates for the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and for the voices of all people, especially those historically silenced, to be heard.
