Adam Fliss

Founding Partner and General Counsel, Patient Square Capital

Mr. Fliss has over 14 years of experience in law, government affairs and private equity. He was most recently General Counsel of TPG Capital, the private equity platform of alternative asset manager TPG. While at TPG, Mr. Fliss was responsible for risk management across the TPG Capital platform, functioning as a member of investment teams and TPG Capital?s investment and performance review committees. In this capacity, he provided insight and judgment on prospective investments, portfolio company value creation and preservation and realizations. Mr. Fliss was also deeply involved in TPG Capital?s fundraising, compliance and investor relations and also served as a senior leader in the larger TPG enterprise, serving on TPG?s allocation, disclosure and valuation committees. Prior to TPG, Mr. Fliss was an associate in the private equity group at Ropes & Gray. Mr. Fliss received a B.A. in Political Economy from Tulane University and a J.D., summa cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. He serves as trustee of Project Healing Waters, a charitable organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of disabled veterans through fly fishing and fly tying, The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, and the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia University.
