Kristopher Sharp is a Program Officer at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, where he oversees the expansion of a university based program that teaches students how to become community organizers. A former congressional aide to Senator Patty Murray and the LGBT Equality Caucus, he was also the recipient of the 2014 National LGBTQ Taskforce’s Paul A. Anderson Youth Leadership Award, part of the inaugural True Colors Fund’s “40 of the Forty,” and recipient of the 2013 Human Rights Campaign Young Leader for Equality Award. He earned a bachelor degree in social work from the University of Houston in 2015 and a Master’s in public administration from Texas Southern University in 2016.
