Mr. Roger C. Altman serves as Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Evercore Holdings. Mr. Altman founded Evercore Partners Inc. in 1995 and has been its Senior Chairman since November 16, 2016 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until May 22, 2009. He served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director of Evercore Partners Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Evercore Capital Partners. He spent 14 years at Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., where he served as Managing Director, Co-Head of Investment Banking, Member of the Management Committee and Director. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Evercore Capital Partners. He serves as Co-Chairman at New Visions For Public Schools. He served as an Executive Chairman of Evercore Partners Inc. from May 22, 2009 to November 16, 2016. He served as an Executive Co-Chairman of Evercore Partners Inc. since May 22, 2009 and also served as its Co-Chairman since June 2008. From 1987 to 1992, He served as Vice Chairman of The Blackstone Group LP from 1987 to 1992 and also served as its Director. His primary responsibility at Lehman and Blackstone was transaction origination. He has been an Executive Director of Evercore Partners Inc. since 2006. He serves as a Trustee of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospita. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of G7 Group, Inc. He served as a Member of Advisory Board of Albright Stonebridge Group. He serves as a Director at The National Park Foundation and a Trustee at New Visions for Public Schools, a Member of the President's Economic Intelligence Advisory Board and The Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Altman served as a Director of Vertis, Inc. since May 2001. He served two tours of duty in the U.S. Treasury Department, as Deputy Treasury Secretary. Mr. Altman holds a B.S./A.B from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
