2021 Ripple of Hope Award Gala
For 53 years, the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award has honored exemplary leaders across the international business, entertainment, and activist communities who have demonstrated a commitment to social change and reflect Robert Kennedy’s passion for equality, justice, basic human rights, and his belief that each of us can make a difference.
We hope you’ll join us on Thursday, December 9, to honor political leader, entrepreneur, author Stacey Abrams; co-founder and managing partner of Clearlake Capital Group José E. Feliciano; poet Amanda Gorman; managing director of Insight Partners, Deven Parekh; chairman and CEO of Verizon, Hans Vestberg; and featuring keynote speaker Kamala Harris and master of ceremonies Alec Baldwin.

The in-person experience includes the red carpet and cocktail reception starting at 5:15 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., award program from 7 to 8 p.m., and dessert and drinks at 8 p.m. The in-person portion will take place at the New York Hilton Midtown Manhattan Hotel.
The virtual experience offers access to the award program from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by a 30 minute table conversation with a special guest for each Advocate, Hero, and Reformer table.
2021 Ripple of Hope Laureates
Jane Alexander is an author, actress, and the former director of the National Endowment for the Arts. She is a Tony Award winner and two-time Emmy Award winner.
Dan Aykroyd is a Canadian actor, producer, comedian, and filmmaker. He is a veteran Saturday Night Live cast member and starred in the movies Ghostbusters, Trading Places, and Soul Man.
