About the Speak Truth Video Contest

We are extending the Video Contest deadline to 11:59 PM EDT on June 15!  We're aware that many of you have worked incredibly hard on your videos and, in these uncertain times, it is challenging to complete your films without collaborating with your classmates in person. Remember that an iPhone can be used to create a film, and that complex editing is not needed to tell inspiring stories that encourage audiences to take action. Please email us at sttp@rfkhumanrights.org with any questions or concerns you have.

Alongside the American Federation of Teachers and based on Kerry Kennedy's book Speak Truth To Power: Human Rights Defenders Who Are Changing Our World, our middle and high school filmmaking competition encourages students to become engaged in human rights through video production.
